The Scholars Workstation
LBNL retirees are elgible to buy from the campus computer retail outlet. The Scholar’s Workstation (TSW). Retirees can purchase hardware at low educational prices.

The UC Berkeley Retirement Center
LBNL retirees have access to discounts and services through the UC Berkeley Retirement Center. There is no cost to use this program.
Here is a partial list of the many services and programs that you are provided through the UC Berkeley Retirement Center.:
- A retirement Center ID Card
- 20/20 Vision Plan
- Access to the Scholar's Workstation, the campus computer retail store
- A subscription to The Center Piece, The Retirement Center Newsletter
- Discounts on Night/Weekend and summer parking coupons
- E-mail and Internet access for $13 per month (plus $10 set-up fee)
- Free campus library card
- Long-term care insurance counseling
- Discounts on tickets
- Classes and seminars
A UC Berkeley Retirement Center ID card is required to use the above services. It can be obtained from them on campus at: 1925 Walnut Street #1550, Berkeley, Ca 94720-1550. They are open Monday - Friday from 9am - noon by appointment and from 1pm - 4pm for walk-ins. They are closed from noon till 1pm. Or by calling their staff at (510) 642-5461.
