The successful candidate will study the electronic structure and
optical properties of nanosystems and inorganic/organic composite
systems. The physical problems include the electron/hole localizations,
exciton and charge transport in nanosystems, exciton dissociation,
semiconductor/metal nanocontacts, nano surface and interface atomic
structures. The incumbent will use a variety of large scale ab initio
computational tools to study the above problems. |
